Bibblo Inc. (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Bibblo mobile application (“Bibblo” or the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate Bibblo responsibly and securely.

a. Account Information

When you sign up for Bibblo, we collect:

  • Email address

  • Username

  • Country and location (as specified by the user)

b. User-Generated Content

We store content you create or share, including:

  • Debate posts and counterarguments

  • Comments

  • Uploaded images and profile information

  • Saved posts, preferences, and settings

c. Usage Data

We collect limited technical data to ensure app functionality and performance, such as:

  • Device type and OS version

  • Timestamps of activity (e.g., when a post is created)

  • Crash reports and diagnostic logs (anonymized)

We do NOT track your behavior across other apps or websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and maintain core features of Bibblo

  • Provide customer support

  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse or violations

  • Improve app performance and feature quality

We do NOT use your data for advertising, tracking, or resale.

Bibblo does not display third-party ads, and we do not monetize your information. We believe in selling a great product — not your data.

3. AI Tools and Content Processing

Bibblo integrates AI features to help you structure arguments, refine writing, and generate insights. When you use AI tools:

  • Your input is temporarily sent to our AI partner’s servers (e.g., Google Vertex AI) for processing

  • These inputs are not used to train public models

  • We do not store or reuse your AI queries beyond your current session, unless explicitly saved by you

4. Data Storage and Security

All user data is securely stored using industry-standard encryption on servers hosted by Google Firebase. We:

  • Use Firestore security rules to control access

  • Restrict sensitive data to authorized Bibblo staff only

  • Regularly audit our systems to prevent vulnerabilities

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose limited data only:

  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., court orders)

  • To prevent fraud, abuse, or security risks

  • With your explicit consent

6. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

  • Update or delete your profile information

  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data

  • Limit what you choose to post or share publicly

7. Children’s Privacy

Bibblo is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we’ve collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately

8. International Users

If you access Bibblo from outside Canada, you agree that your data will be processed and stored in Canada and the United States, where our service providers are located.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. We will notify users of material changes via the App or our website.
